Our Rio Gallegos wool tops from Argentina are about 26 microns and weigh about 23 grams/metre. The sheep are raised on ranches called 'estancias', mostly in Patagonia, and they survive in very harsh conditions.
The wool is perfect for both needle and wet felting and spinning.
