Payment & Shipping
Full payment through Square or PayPal is collected at the time of an online purchase. Cash payments for local pick ups can be easily arranged by calling us to complete your order by phone. Canada’s Goods and Services Tax (GST)of 5% is charged on fibre sales. British Columbia Sales Tax of 7.0% plus GST 5% are added to product prices for kits, tools and a few other items. Custom duties and fees for international orders are the responsibility of the purchaser.
The cost shown for shipping includes the materials used for shipping as well as the postage required. Packages are usually shipped within 1-2 business days. We will confirm with an email that your parcel has been shipped, including tracking information if applicable. For local, Victoria area customers, we can often accommodate a no shipping arrangement if you can pick up at our home studio. Please email or call us for more information.
Packages will be shipped via Canada Post and generally arrive within 1 – 2 business days. If you wish to request a different shipping method such as FedEx or other courier that you may typically use, please contact us directly.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with the product, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will arrange to refund or exchange the product. Your request for a refund or exchange must be made within 7 days of receiving your product, and the product MUST be in its original condition, free of smoke and animal hair, and in its original packaging. Shipping fees for refunded or exchanged products are the responsibility of the customer, as are customs duties and fees for international orders.
Chaotic Fibres does not take responsibility for goods that are damaged or lost in shipping. If you would like additional insurance to the $100 coverage provided by Canada Post, please let us know at the time of ordering.
