Pods Gone Wild!

I’m trying out some new fibre combinations and new techniques. Here’s a pod I had great fun with using Icelandic wool, some colourful mohair locks and a few accents with vibrant sari silk threads. My latest purchase was a new Rigid palm sander that has a comfortable rubberized grip and a GFI extension cord for added insurance, and it’s sure a big boost to the process, a time and muscle saver.

I like the way this turned out, although I played around quite a bit with the pig’s tail end. I love the “chaotic” character of the curl. What do you think?
